BREAKING: STARMER’S GOVERNMENT IN TOTAL MELTDOWN – THE FALL HAS BEGUN!

Sir Keir Starmer’s crunch meeting with trade union leaders has been cancelled as the Prime Minister clings on to power.

The planned meeting was due to host leaders of Labour-affiliated unions, named the Tulo group, to speak with the Prime Minister this afternoon.

However, several hours before the meeting was due to be held, it was cancelled.

The unions that were due to be present included GMB, Unite the Union, Unison and Aslef – amongst others.

Union chiefs have not held back in voicing their concerns over Sir Keir’s premiership since Labour’s disastrous local election results last week.

Unite the Union leader Sharon Graham said on Friday it is a case of “change or die” and the “writing is on the wall” for Sir Keir’s Government, with the party “finished” if it does not “shift decisively towards the working class”.

Unison general secretary Andrea Egan also weighed in, saying Labour faced “oblivion” and “what must change is not just the leader but the entire approach”.

Within his own Government, Sir Keir is battling on despite mounting pressure on him to set out a timetable for his departure, having been presented with three ministerial resignations today so far.
