Royal Family LIVE: Harry and Meghan accept 1 huge offer from King Charles for UK return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have accepted King Charles’ offer to stay in a royal residence during their UK trip next month. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting the UK in a matter of weeks alongside their young children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
The BBC reports that the royal residence the family will stay in has not been named publicly. It will be their first family visit since 2022. The family will also reportedly stay in private accommodation during their trip.
Prince Harry is visiting Britain in connection with the Invictus Games. He and Meghan will help kick off the year-long countdown to the event for injured military personnel, scheduled for Birmingham next July.
Prince Harry has previously turned down the offer to stay at Buckingham Palace due to security concerns.

King Charles won’t live at Buckingham Palace despite taxpayers paying for £370m refurb
King Charles will not live at Buckingham Palace after the £369m refurbishment works are completed next spring, despite previous insistence from officials that it would become his London home. The Prince and Princess of Wales also have no intention of ever moving into the 775-room home, as Forest Lodge on the Windsor Estate has been billed as their “forever home”.
Announced as part of the annual royal finance reports, which revealed that the King and Prince of Wales have paid over £50m in tax during the Carolean era, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Charles and Camilla will continue to reside at their London home, Clarence House, when the 10-year refurbishment of Monarchy HQ concludes in March 2027.
The Palace will remain the symbol of the Royal Family, home to state banquets, dinners, Garden Parties and investitures, as well as the central headquarters of the monarchy – but it will cease to be a residential home.
‘Real’ reason Prince William has refused to meet Prince Harry during UK trip
Prince William will unlikely meet with his estranged brother, Prince Harry, when he returns to the UK next month, a royal expert has claimed. The Duke of Sussex is coming back to his home country in mid-July to attend various events for his charities.
Harry’s biggest appearance will likely be the One Year To Go event for the Invictus Games in Birmingham next year. He is expected bring his family, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with him, for the first time in four years. The last time Harry brought his family back home was in 2022, for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
