Keir Starmer was torn apart as a TalkTV caller launched into a scathing rant about the illegal immigration problem in the UK. TalkTV host Ian Collins spoke to a caller named Martin, who admitted he is frightened to leave his home as he accused the Labour government of throwing the public under the bus. He said: “Immigration is the biggest problem in this country. Keir Starmer has to go. He’s let in unvetted people from who knows where. I’m all for legal migration, people who are coming into this country to actually assist like nurses or doctors.

“People that come in on dinghy boats do not bring anything whatsoever. The crime we saw in Belfast was disgusting. What we saw in Southampton is disgusting. I am an older man and I am frightened to leave my home because of this treacherous government who have thrown us all under the bus.”

Martin admitted he is reluctant to voice concerns about illegal immigration, fearing he could be labelled racist or a bad person.

“I’m not a bad person. I’ve worked all my life,” he added.

Reassuring the caller, Collins said: “You’re not a racist to think having tens of thousands of undocumented people in our country is a big problem. That is exactly why the government have passports, they would agree with us when we say we’re concerned about undocumented people.”

Martin brought up the tragic case of Henry Nowak, the 18-year-old who was stabbed to death in December 2025 by Vickrum Digwa. In released bodycam footage, police officers approached Digwa, who claimed he had been racially abused by Nowak.

Despite repeatedly telling police officers that he had been stabbed and couldn’t breathe, Nowak was handcuffed on the floor and read his rights. He died shortly after.

Martin raged: “It was somebody who had done something absolutely despicable and then hid behind that because they know it’s the easy way out.”

He went on: “People like me and you, who have lived in this country, paid our taxes all these years, we’re becoming third-rate citizens in our own land to people who are coming over on boats and who do not contribute anything.

“I’m not saying all of them, but we don’t know who they are.”

He criticised the prime minister for appealing for calm after these incidents, with Collins agreeing: “It’s beyond belief. It is treacherous when prime ministers speak that kind of language.”

The presenter added: “Every day, they let this random immigration policy play out across the English Channel and elsewhere, and anyone who dares raise their head above the parapet and complain about it, is some kind of mad, racist nut job.”
