A peaceful morning in Golders Green just turned into a nightmare! In a broad-daylight horror, a man armed with a blade targeted the Jewish community in what’s being called a “declared act of terror.” 💣 After the shocking torching of ambulances just weeks ago, the violence has reached a terrifying new peak!
Violence has once again cast a shadow over Golders Green, North London, following a knife attack targeting members of the Jewish community. This is the latest in a deeply concerning series of anti-Semitic incidents in the United Kingdom, occurring against a backdrop of escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Details of the Attack and Rapid Response
According to witnesses at the scene, a man armed with a knife pursued several residents along Golders Green Road, intentionally targeting those wearing traditional Jewish attire. The attack took place near the vicinity of Heather Gardens.
Two victims were stabbed during the incident. Hatzola, a Jewish volunteer medical organization—whose ambulance was notably torched in the same area just weeks ago—arrived promptly to provide first aid. Initial reports from the scene indicate that despite their injuries, both victims remained conscious and were able to walk.
The assailant was immediately intercepted and restrained by members of Shomrim, the Jewish neighborhood watch group. The Metropolitan Police arrived shortly after, utilizing a Taser to apprehend the suspect, who was then taken into custody.
Suspected Terrorism and Political Reaction
Speaking on television, Shadow Minister Chris Philp described the event as a “horrific anti-Semitic attack.” He cited local reports suggesting the suspect may have shouted Arabic phrases during the assault, though this detail awaits official police confirmation.
Philp issued a scathing critique of the current government’s perceived weakness:
“Warm words from the government are no longer enough. We need much tougher action. If the hand of Iranian agents is behind this, they must be expelled. If foreign nationals exhibit extremism or sympathy for terrorism, they must be deported.”
He further urged the government to immediately proscribe the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
Representing the government, Prime Minister Keir Starmer addressed the House of Commons, labeling the incident “extremely concerning” and vowing to deal severely with such violent crimes. Sarah Sackman, the Solicitor General and MP for Finchley & Golders Green, asserted that “attacks on British Jews are an attack on Britain itself.”
London Mayor Sadiq Khan also spoke out, thanking the police and heroic volunteers for their swift action. He announced that the Met Police would increase high-visibility patrols in sensitive areas. The investigation into the suspect’s motives remains ongoing.
